Introduction to Beekeeping Course
April 26 @ 9:00 am - April 27 @ 6:00 pm
£125W&L Beekeepers holds weekend courses in Spring each year, covering the major basic theory elements of managing honey bees. The course enables attendees to enjoy looking after their own beehives safely and competently and is a first step in beekeeping. The course complements hands-on training which is available at most of the branches that course participants may wish to join. Being a Member of Warwick & Leamington Beekeepers is not a pre-requisite to joining our Introduction to Beekeeping Course.
The next Introduction to Beekeeping Course will take place on:
Saturday 26th 9am to 6pm and Sunday 27th April, 2pm to 6pm
Limited to 25 participants
To sign up please go to Introduction to Beekeeping 2025
The course is aimed at those wishing to start keeping honeybees. You do not have to be a member of our branch to attend this course. Those who subsequently decide to join our branch will be assisted in acquiring honeybees and equipment. They will be eligible to request mentoring support in their first year of beekeeping, and will be encouraged to attend weekly meetings at the branch apiary in order to gain practical experience.
